Dr. Cordoves is a respected expert in cosmetic and implant dentistry, CAD/CAM dentistry, dental implant placement, implant crowns and bridges, bone grafting and extractions.
Alongside his partner, Dr. Michael Gulizio, Dr. Cordoves has created a unique dental practice at Core Smiles in Midtown Manhattan. Together, they provide their patients an inviting, comforting dental office experience. Education & ADVANCED training
Dr. Steven Cordoves completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2003. After five years in general practice Dr. Cordoves returned to NYU to focus on specialized training in implant dentistry and bone grafting. In 2008, he pursued an extensive two-year surgical and prosthetic program in dental implantology at NYU.
Dr. Cordoves’ passion is palpable and confirms to his patients that he truly loves what he does. He takes immense pride in transforming a every patient’s smile into another natural, comfortable success story — not to mention, a beautiful one. Seeing a patient’s reaction when they first see their new smile, and hearing of the positive impact Core Smiles has had on their life and confidence, is his greatest reward. Through post-procedure education and outreach, Dr. Cordoves, as well as Dr. Gulizio, build strong connections with their patients.
Along with managing the success of Core Smiles, Dr. Cordoves currently holds a faculty position in the Continuing Dental Education Department for Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology at New York University. Originally from Tampa, Dr. Cordoves has lived in New York City for 15 years.
