Ms. Kennedy joined Dr. Cordoves and Gulizio's team in 2009 as the practice's primary preventative dental health care provider. Kellie understands the importance in educating patients about keeping their mouths healthy and sees each patient as a challenge she can learn from. Kellie is committed to helping patients attain an optimum level of oral health by including all periodontal treatments, laser soft tissue management, sealants, and whitening procedures in order to create bright healthy smiles.
Ms. Kennedy graduated New York University College of Dentistry's Dental Hygiene Program as Valedictorian of her class with a BS in Public Health. During her time at NYU, Kellie earned several awards including the American Dental Hygiene Association of the State of New York President's Award, American Dental Hygienists Association Advanced Studies Award, the Premier Bachelor of Science Award, and was the NYU Student ADHA Student Body Council Secretary in 2009.
Kellie is dedicated to providing community service to underserved populations. To this end she has performed prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, research, patient education, and sealants through the NYU Outreach Program in Hudson, NY and Grenada, West Indies. Kellie has also provided Oral Health Education at New York Public Schools, PS1, PS3, and PS161 in Manhattan.
When Kellie is not working in the office, she teaches clinic at NYU for the Dental Hygiene Department. The field of dentistry is continually expanding and advancing and we are provided with state-of-the-art tools which enables Kellie to make her patients' experience relaxing and pain-free.
