ESSENTIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Collection of good data starts with great photography. Capturing a moment in time with a picture provides us with the ability to evaluate and analyze facial esthetics, phonetics, occlusion and the smile frame. This module reviews the photos needed to properly document the patient in a static and dynamic environment so that a treatment plan can be organized with ease.
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE DENTAL PATIENT
Dental care can have profound effects on both the physical and psychological well-being of the patient. As clinicians, it is important for us to understand the psychological background of individuals coming to us for treatment, but more importantly, how we respond to a specific patient’s mental status is what can make or break the doctor-patient relationship. This module reviews the 5 mental classifications of the dental patient, how to effectively communicate with a specific classification and whether or not the relationship is a good fit.
