Ximena Chicaiza, rdh

Ximena Chicaiza joined the Core Smile's team in 2009 as the practice’s lead dental assistant and was instrumental in growing the practice. In 2017, Ximena went on to further her education in dental hygiene at New York University and is now Core Smiles’ lead hygienist.

Born in Ecuador and raised in New York City, Ximena was intrigued by the field of dentistry at a very young age. Ximena was self-conscious about her smile because her teeth were crooked and while working with the Core Smile’s team, started Invisalign back in 2010. Since completing treatment, Ximena has been smiling ever since!

Ximena enjoys exploring new places, trying different foods and traveling. But most of all, Ximena loves cuddling and spending time with her Samoyed huskies.
