Our Technology

Sophisticated Computer Software for a Smile Unique to Your Face

We use sophisticated computer software to create a smile that is unique to your face. The aesthetic characteristics of the teeth we design are fully customized to your unique facial profile. From there, we take the digital data and transfer it to our 3D printer and print a model of your mouth with the new tooth shapes. This entirely reversible and painless process allows us to try in your new smile so that we can evaluate tooth position, speech patterns and shade.

Using 3D digital technology, the Core Smiles doctors will take a digital scan of your teeth. Along with photography, we’ll “digitize” your smile and using sophisticated software, we can then design the ideal tooth shape and size to fit your face. The Core Smiles doctors are certified in Digital Smile Design and using this methodical process, patients are blown away by the results!

Dr. G & his techs literally built me new teeth from tiny stubs (lifelong tooth grinder, ground ‘em down to 50% of their surface area). One thing I really love about this practice is the lengths they go to explain what could be going on in your mouth and how thorough they are about figuring out *exactly* what the problem might be. Dr. G leans into it—-PowerPoint presentations w/ anatomical diagrams, 3D molds of my teeth.... I love that he always seems happy to oblige my curiosity.
