Fotona NightLase Snoring Cessation Treatment

Non-invasive laser treatment that tightens oral tissue to reduce snoring and improve sleep quality.

Fotona NightLase is a non-invasive, patient-friendly laser treatment that uses gentle Er:YAG laser energy to tighten and firm the soft tissue of the oral mucosa, reducing the effects of snoring and improving sleep quality.

The Fotona LightWalker laser delivers controlled heat energy to the soft palate and surrounding tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and tightening the airway. The procedure requires no anesthesia, no incisions, and typically involves a series of brief sessions.

NightLase provides a comfortable, effective solution for patients who snore or whose partners are affected by snoring. It requires no device to wear at night and delivers noticeable results without surgery or discomfort.

Understanding Your Treatment Starts Here

Who might consider this treatment?

NightLase is an excellent option for patients who snore regularly and are looking for a non-invasive, device-free solution. It is also well-suited for patients who are not candidates for or prefer to avoid oral appliances, CPAP, or surgical interventions.

What is the typical experience?

The treatment is performed in-office with no anesthesia required. The laser handpiece is gently applied to the soft palate and surrounding tissue in a series of passes. Most patients describe a mild warming sensation and find the procedure very comfortable throughout.

How long does it usually take?

Each NightLase session takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. A full treatment course typically involves three sessions spaced a few weeks apart, with results lasting up to a year before a maintenance session may be recommended.

Is there anything to keep in mind?

NightLase addresses snoring caused by soft tissue laxity in the upper airway. It is not a substitute for a formal sleep study if sleep apnea is suspected. We recommend a thorough evaluation to determine whether NightLase is the right fit for your needs.

What should I know about recovery after?

There is no downtime following NightLase treatment. Patients can return to all normal activities immediately. Mild throat sensitivity may occur for a day or two, but most patients experience no significant discomfort after their session.
