Snoring & Sleep Apnea Treatment

Custom oral appliances to reduce snoring and treat mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.

Sleep apnea oral appliance therapy uses custom-fitted devices that reposition the jaw and tongue during sleep to keep the airway open, reducing or eliminating snoring and apnea episodes.

We take precise impressions and fabricate a custom mandibular advancement device (MAD) tailored to your anatomy. The appliance gently shifts the jaw forward to maintain an open airway throughout the night.

Enjoy restful, uninterrupted sleep without a CPAP machine. Oral appliances are comfortable, portable, and highly effective for many patients with snoring or mild to moderate sleep apnea.

Understanding Your Treatment Starts Here

Who might consider this treatment?

This treatment is ideal for patients who snore loudly, have been diagnosed with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or are CPAP-intolerant. It's also a great option for anyone whose partner has noticed gasping or pauses in breathing during sleep.

What is the typical experience?

We start with an evaluation to confirm your candidacy, take impressions for your custom appliance, and fit the device at a follow-up appointment. The appliance is worn comfortably in the mouth during sleep and most patients adjust to it quickly within the first week or two.

How long does it usually take?

The evaluation and fitting process typically involves two to three appointments over two to four weeks. Once your custom appliance is delivered, you'll begin wearing it nightly and we'll schedule a follow-up to assess your comfort and effectiveness.

Is there anything to keep in mind?

A sleep study or referral from a sleep physician is often part of the diagnostic process to confirm the severity of your condition. Oral appliance therapy is most effective for mild to moderate sleep apnea — severe cases may still require CPAP. Annual follow-ups are recommended.

What should I know about recovery after?

There's no recovery associated with this treatment. Minor jaw soreness or a feeling of fullness may occur during the initial adjustment period as your muscles adapt to the appliance. This typically resolves within the first few weeks of nightly use.
